When finding my new apartment, my top priority was finding a space that was filled with natural light. I was entering a new chapter: my first time living alone, solo and single. I needed a place that felt like a sanctuary. Whether natural light or not, lighting plays a huge factor in my mood when spending time in my space, especially since I spend a large chunk of time living and working in it.
My studio space is PERFECT, and I couldn’t be happier. It has an entire wall of windows that fill the room with the brightest light. I love this feature to conserve energy if I forget to turn my lights off before leaving! I can also control color, brightness (hello, built-in dimmer!), and temperature. I’m literally obsessed with playing around in the app, changing settings and setting the mood in my space. I have two lamps set up with the bulbs, one on my bedside table and the other by my couch. So, if I’m reading before bed, I can make one light really bright while dimming the other. If I’m having a fun night with friends, I love making both lights shades of pink. It completely changes the vibe of my entire space.
