Every day for me looks different. I guess that’s the beauty of building your own schedule ;). I’m currently in an intense work grind period, and doing whatever I can to fuel my productivity – (which I can attribute to Fitz Cold Brew Coffee), stay active, and stay positive. It’s definitely not always the most interesting, but I hope you seeing what my day looks like provides some insight as I’m proud of the routine I’ve created.
Fitz Cold Brew Coffee is the perfect pick-me-up for the morning or afternoon and is ideal for the on-the-go, flexible routine I follow daily. It’s got such a smooth taste, you really don’t need to add milk or cream, but I personally love it with a non-dairy milk alternative! What makes it even better is that its 250mg of NATURAL caffeine! 7-7:30AM: Wake up!
I start my day laying in bed with a quick 5-minute meditation (I like Headspace and Insight Timer). From there, I ice roll my face for a nice wake-up and depuff, make celery juice, scroll the ‘gram for a few, check my horoscope, take a couple of vitamins (only the ones I can handle on an empty stomach -like my allergy pill, for example) and hit the gym. On Mondays and Thursdays I train with Brandon, and the other days I typically fill in with yoga, SoulCycle or barre. I also try to sleep in and skip my AM workout a couple days a week. Sometimes that’s for a rest day or because I choose to do an evening workout instead!
9-10:30AM: Breakfast!
Now is one of my favorite times of day. I get home, check-in with my planner and to-do list for the day, dive into my emails, make breakfast and have my caffeinated beverage. I’m on a Fitz Cold Brew kick and loving it! I also love using cold brew in my smoothies to change up from my usual combination, or I’ll blend it with almond milk. Even though the black flavor is 0 calories, I try to only have half the serving in the morning so I can have a dose of caffeine later in the day too (It’s hard to not drink it all at once though!). My productivity hack? Keeping my shoes on. Someone gave me this tip on Instagram a few months back and I laughed, but it actually really helps me feel like I’m in a work environment! I typically do a couple of hours of work at home until I shower, pack lunch/snacks, and get ready to head to WeWork for the day.
12:00-4:00PM: Work Grind
My commute to my co-working space at WeWork is one of my favorites. Despite Chicago’s colder weather, walking across the bridge to the loop is one of my favorite views! With good music from Spotify [add playlist here], I find a few moments of peace and mindfulness on my walk. Fresh air + views + music = ultimate vibes. I have my laptop, food, fuel, and everything with me so I can stay out and productive for hours. I pack my meal prepped food and snacks and also love to bring all the beverage options with me — cold brew is always a winner and I LOVE having some coffee after lunch.
Headphones in, Fitz Cold Brew in hand, and I feel so good, so productive, and so inspired to be around other entrepreneurs doing the same thing. It’s super contagious to have the vibrant energy of like-minded, hard-working individuals in a common space.
5:00PM – 8:00PM: Second Job!
I recently started working at The Space Between and I absolutely love it! It’s a great way to connect with people of the wellness space, learn from Daryn (a female business owner who is a HUGE expander and inspiration to me!) Knowing my day starts with a big workout energy boost, and then continues with work for several hours at several locations, being fueled up is so important to me. Rather than dealing with a caffeine crash where I continuously need a replenishment throughout the day, Fitz Cold Brew Coffee is concentrated and keeps me going longer! It really helps me get my job done and I enjoy it every sip of the way!
8:30PM – 10:00PM: Home and Bed!
This is when I wind down. I wash my face and do my nightly skincare routine. I watch Netflix — typically FRIENDS, sometimes take a bath or do a face mask, but really just hermit up. I sometimes use this time to look through emails or commenting and catching up on Instagram, but I’m trying to spend more time disconnecting without my screen to help me really fall into a nice slumber. At this point in the night, I am naturally very tired on my own, but sometimes I will opt for some CBD if needed to help my mind relax a bit more.
Honestly, I love what I do so much and all of the people I interact with every day, that I am genuinely energized from my surroundings and passions alone. Coffee is something I drink because I enjoy it, and the fact that it helps perk me up is an added bonus.
Fitz has become my daily dose of cold brew coffee because it offers a Slightly Sweet and Dark Chocolate variety- but the Black variety is my personal favorite so I can spice it up how I like.
