You read that right — I launched a candle with Flores Lane! This is easily one of my career highlights, as collaborating on a candle has been a dream of mine for a LONG TIME, and it’s available NOW!
As someone who loves both self-care and interior design, I’ve recognized how important combining the two and making your space feel like home is key. Your home is a space that you should feel comfortable living, working and playing in. And more importantly, it’s a space where you should feel free to be 100% yourself within. It’s your space to come undone. To embrace the state you’re in and simply be. In my opinion, candles can completely change and enhance the energy in your space. They fill your space with energy and scents that can amplify the vibe of your home and the current vibe of your own, too.
Meet the Undone candle. This candle is comprised of a beautiful blend of scents to help you feel totally grounded, at home, and undone in your space. I was introduced to Trish and her team at Flores Lane about a year ago, and as soon as I saw her beautifully aesthetic candles and smelled the varieties made of natural soy wax, I asked “would you ever be open to a custom candle?” Finally, a year later, we hopped on the phone and brought my once vision board vision to life. We started by discussing my favorite smells (palo santo being the top of that list). I told her I love masculine meets feminine smells. Palo santo for the woodsy, smoky, positive energy, then something more light/bright to balance it. A smell that you want your home to smell like. A smell that visitors come over and say “Omg your home smells so good.” (a top tier compliment, in my opinion), and a smell that causes guests to not just comment on the smell, but the energy it brings. Somehow, Trish and her team nailed it INSTANTLY. She sent at least 10 or so options in a giant box and I had the most fun smelling them all. This one, however, was the VERY first one I smelled. And I knew in that moment, that there was no turning back. It smells like grounded good energy. It smells like nothing I’ve ever smelled before. It’s such a beautiful, complex blend, it is so special, and I am simply obsessed with it.
